I instantly shuddered when I checked pc.ign.com today. The background and most of the “content” area (btw, where is the actual content?) is flooded with some ad campaign. Worst part is, the ads are terrible, both in fashion (awful colors) and function (what is it even advertising?). Whatever it is, I’ll make sure to not buy it.

HTTPS On A Couple Sites
FYI, you can access wikipedia securely at
https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Main_Page
Also, if you navigate to https://mail.google.com/ instead of http://mail.google.com, your entire session will run securely, although with GMail, there still might be an internal frame that’s running plain old insecure http.
